Super super cute. Came in on a Sunday for a couple lattes and they were perfect. Came in on a Monday evening and the coffee was not as strong as I would have liked and was not as hot as it should have been but that could be just because it was an hour before close.

nice little coffee shop (i don’t drink coffee but they have s nice selection of tea) located right next to a laundromat. tables out front under a cover and the menu is in scrabble tiles. love it. girl was super nice. i’m on a 45 day cross country trip and had the urge to ask if counter girl wanted to run away. that sounds kinda creepy but most definitely was not meant to be! sometimes certain people just impress upon you more than others as this trip is teaching me.

Staying in Sanderson, TX and had some business in Alpine, TX. Figured since it was going to be an all day affair, I might as well do some laundry while there to kill time between appointments. As far as I can tell this is the only laundry mat in Alpine. First off the place used to be a gas station and it has been converted into a laundry mat/coffee hutch. The coffee is walk up only, but there is 1 or 2 tables outside, but a sign posted said "NO OUTSIDE DINING". You pay for coffee one way - CREDIT CARD. They do not take cash. There is also a food truck parked there as well, but it was not open when we were there, so I can't say much about it. The truck is called "Cow Dog". The laundry mat is where the bays used to be. Can't tell if there were one or two bays at this gas station, but that part is now the laundry mat. The laundry mat is open 7:30 am to 8:00 pm 7 days a week. Last load goes in at 7:00 pm. Here are the machine sizes and prices. Washers - 20 lb - $2.75 Dryers - 30 lb - 6 mins for $0.25 30 lb - $3.50 45 lb - 5 mins for $0.25 45 lb - $4.50 60 lb - 4 mins for $0.25 60 lb - $6.00 *AVERAGE dry time is 20-45 mins I took some pictures while there to give folks an idea of what they would be stepping into if wanting to do laundry there. Most of these reviews talk about how great the coffee is. I was there to do laundry not sip coffee. So, I can't tell you about that part. Coffee, I can get anywhere. Laundry, not so much. But, the staff at the coffee side were nice. I will say this much for the laundry. There is no rest room there, you have to go over to O'Reilly's. The machines are not kept up and are quite filthy. Some are busted up pretty good, others are okay. You just have to be careful when choosing is all. Space overall is at a minimum. It's a tight fit if there are more than 3 people in there at the same time and they only have 2 laundry carts. When I saw how things were set up, I figured "this is typical Texas mentality". In other words, expectations stay low, therefore I am not disappointed as often. Would I do laundry here again? If I had to. After all, it is much cheaper than Fabian's in Fort Stockton.

It's a coffee shop with a small laundromat attached to it housed in an old gas station. Very unique premise. The coffee shop side is cute. The couch and other seating inside is welcoming and cozy enough to warrant the wait time for your drink. The espresso I ordered was adequate. The iced vanilla latte my fiancé ordered was equally adequate. It needed to be stirred; the syrup was all at the bottom. Oh well. Just set your expectations. It's a small coffee shop in a small town in the middle of nowhere. When we went in, there was only one girl working the counter, hence the long wait time. God bless her. The art on the walls is kitschy but cute. The walls themselves are austere. Evidence of Marfa's Minimalism influence. Outside under the canopy where gas pumps once dominated is seating for a food truck parked just outside the protection of the canopy. I guess it's open during the day. From what I hear from locals, the food served out of that truck is meh. Back inside the coffee shop, there's an ice cream counter where several flavors are served. Maybe opt for ice cream instead. In an area where the Petroleum industry has worked with rurality to flatten out the range of human creativity, it's nice to see instances where human creativity thrives in spite of the odds being stacked against it. A coffee shop-cum-laundromat with a food truck feature is just such an instance, and worth experiencing.

Enjoyed a nice lot latte from this little coffee shop. It was pretty busy for a Sunday morning with only one girl working so there was a wait. She was doing an awesome job keeping up. I suggest ordering through them online if you don't want to wait but the coffee was worth it.

Cool coffee shop in Alpine. They have freshly roasted coffee and several drink options. They also have freshly made juices and several unique hot chocolate or flavored latte options. They have homemade ice cream and shakes. They don't have food other than a few pastries or granola. There's several places to sit inside and especially outside. I'd recommend for a morning coffee or afternoon spot for coffee and hang out.
